The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in payroll operations, specifically within a global or multinational environment. Strong knowledge of payroll regulations in Japan and international payroll practices is essential, as is experience with payroll software and systems.
As the Manager, Payroll Operations, you will lead and manage a team of payroll specialists, providing direction and support to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to maintain accurate employee data and payroll accounting transactions, develop and implement payroll policies and procedures, and monitor payroll data for trends and improvements. Additionally, you will deliver payroll-related training and communications, serve as a subject matter expert, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
